You will need to prep it first with a special wash method, chemical decon, clay, do a paint correction on your Corvette, then polish it, do a paint decontamination, and then apply the coating. Unfortunately the only DIY ceramic coatings will not hold up very long, so you may have to do it again in a year or two.
