Ceramic Coating Maintenance:
Keep Your Vehicle Looking New
Why Regular Maintenance Matters
Ceramic coatings are designed to protect your vehicle’s paint and keep it looking pristine, but even the best coatings need proper care to perform at their peak. Regular maintenance ensures:
- Longevity: Extend the life of your ceramic coating by preventing contaminants from breaking it down.
- Shine: Maintain that showroom finish with proper upkeep.
- Protection: Reinforce your coating’s hydrophobic and self-healing properties.
Without regular care, dirt, grime, and hard water spots can build up, diminishing the coating’s effectiveness over time.
A Microscopic View of a Ceramic Coating
Like your skin, your vehicle’s paint is porous, as is the ceramic coating. Pollen, dust, and grime gets lodged in the pores and sometimes regular cleaning is not enough to get all the contaminants out of the pores. The result is a degradation of the hydrophobic properties of the coating. The solution is a decontamination wash that uses an acidic descaling cleaner. It’s not something you want to tackle yourself as you could damage the coating. When your vehicle no longer beads water, it’s time for to get it unclogged.
Water Spots
Hard water deposits form when water evaporates, leaving behind minerals like calcium. These spots can etch into your vehicle’s paint, causing dullness and permanent damage if ignored.
They often come from washing with hard water or sprinkler overspray. Under the hot Texas sun, these spots can quickly bond and etch into your paint.
A ceramic coating prevents this by creating a hydrophobic layer, helping water bead up and roll off instead of leaving deposits. However, if left to dry, the water spots will eat through the ceramic coating and eventually into the paint. That’s why it’s important to quickly dry of the vehicle using our wash kit immediately after getting water spots. For emergencies, you can use white vinegar and filtered water at a 50/50 ratio to remove water spots, but be sure to do it in a garage, or out direct sunlight.
If your car already has spots, professional detailing can safely remove them through buffing or wet sanding.
Our Ceramic Coating Maintenance Plans
We’ve designed subscription plans to make maintaining your ceramic coating simple and hassle-free. Each plan ensures consistent care and protection.
All vehicles must get a full detail and maintenance at the start of the subscription and the price is not included in the subscription. This is because each vehicle will require different levels of detailing. We will advise you of the level of detailing and the hours when you arrive. The price is based on the hours we estimate and is discounted 20%.

Subscription Maintenance Pricing
Pay As You Go Maintenance Pricing
Terms and Conditions
Annual & Quarterly Subscriptions
- The annual price is 20% off from the pay-as-you-go price, meaning, if the pay-as-you-go monthly service is $165 for a large vehicle, the annual subscription price is $1,644, which is effectively $137 per month.
- Payment of the annual price is paid in advance. No refunds are available.
- Only 1 VIN per subscription. Additional VIN’s receive a 5% discount.
- We require your vehicle gets a full detail at the start at a discounted price. This detail is not included in the annual maintenance as each vehicle’s requirements are different. When you arrive we will inspect the interior and advise you of the level of detail and the hours expected, which will determine the price
- Subscription plans are either annual or quarterly.
- Excessive mess between each service may require additional time, which will be extra cost. For instance, if you go to the beach and get sand in the car, we may have to charge extra to remove it. Or if a child or pet makes a mess with stains, we may have to charge extra.
- The annual subscription plan is a “use it or lose it” plan. If you miss a monthly or quarterly appointment it cannot be made up. Our pricing assumes that the vehicle will be here each month or quarter, so our labor is calculated using this assumption. If you miss a service, it’s likely your vehicle will require additional time to get it back to where it needs to be.
- For monthly subscriptions the dates are somewhat flexible. We can set it up initially for the same day of the month, or the same week, or every 30 days. We can change a date for a month where you might not be in town for your monthly service.
Pay-As-You-Go
- Your card gets charged each month, or each quarter. You can choose the day of the month or quarter and when you plans change, just call us to move to a different date.
- You pay 10% off the regular price for the service.
- If your vehicle’s level of mess is excessive for a maintenance detail, we may have to upgrade you to a full detail.
- All other terms and conditions listed in the Annual Subscription Plan apply.
