We Offer Three Levels of Paint Protection
Paint Protection Film (PPF)
PPF is the ultimate paint protection for a vehicle. At 8 mils, it’s much thicker than a ceramic coating. The disadvantages include:
- It’s the highest cost.
- It only covers painted. surfaces, leaving the grille and wheels exposed.
- It can yellow over time.
- If it punctures you have to replace the entire piece.
Silicone Ceramic Coating
Our silicone based ceramic coating combines the flexibility and self-healing properties of PPF, and the adhesion and gloss of a quartz ceramic coating. The advantages include:
- Half the price of PPF.
- It covers all surfaces leaving nothing exposed.
- 5-10x thicker than quartz ceramic coatings.
A disadvantage is that it’s not as thick as PPF.
Quartz Ceramic Coating
Quartz based ceramic coatings have been around for over 20 years. They bond to the clear coat and act as a sacrificial layer taking the brunt of swirls and scratches that do not heal themselves. The advantages include:
- The least expensive of the three levels.
- It covers all surfaces leaving nothing exposed.
Disadvantages include no self-healing, nor any pitting and chip protection
